The new AutoMem touch: is a sophisticated, compact, independent controller for all membrane test systems (not just our own). It has 3 different application options:

1. Automatic concentration and diafiltration with electronic scales: we supply 2 digital scales, a solenoid valve and a peristaltic pump. The desired concentration factor and diafiltration factor are entered via the touch panel of the AutoMem control unit. The rest runs automatically: The concentration runs until the required permeate has arrived in the permeate vessel on the permeate scale, then the peristaltic pump automatically pumps exactly the necessary amount of diafiltration solution into the feed vessel that the level remains constant and until the desired washing factor is reached. Then the solenoid valve of the permeate switches to recirculation. The whole process can therefore run while the operator does something else. The permeate flow is also measured via the scales and can be transferred via the AutoMem system output (e.g. to our MiniMem, MaxiMem or PiloMem data acquisition system).

2. Automatic concentration and diafiltration with level switch: we supply a level switch (optical or mechanical, suitable for the application and the feed container), a solenoid valve and a peristaltic pump. The desired concentration factor and diafiltration factor are entered via the touch panel of the AutoMem control unit. The rest runs automatically, this time controlled by the level switch. No permeate flow can be measured with this setup. It is however in this form a very simple system, which offers itself if a separate permeate flow meter is present.

3. Automatic continuous operation: we use 2 peristaltic pumps and a level switch. AutoMem controls the whole thing in such a way that a constant concentration factor is automatically run with the system. Your batch system becomes a continuous system !
